Description

Rolex Submariner 5513 ‘Feet First’ 1971

Submariner 5513 with matte dial from the early 70’s in very good condition. It has a ‘serif’ feet first dial with a beautfiul patina on the dial and hands, the original ‘fat font’ bezel has a fantastic faded blue colour. The condition of the dial is mint and untouched.

Very great too is the presence of the original twin-lock crown (with no dots below the Rolex logo) and tube. The watch remains in its original (1971) condition, the movement has been totally serviced in 2017.

The case has been polished in the past but still remains good lugs and a decent shape. The original 9315 folded bracelet remains in very good condition and is stamped 71′ in the clasp. A small little detail on the ‘diver extension’ of this particular bracelet is the misspelling of the word ‘patented’ which has been written ‘pateted’. This only appear on some very early 1970’s rolex bracelets and is highly appreciated by vintage rolex collectors.

The watch comes with its original box and guarantee paper from 1971, the watch will be delivered with 1 year guarantee on the movement and mechanical parts.
