1966 omega speedmaster / CB-case
A true gem, this early speedmaster from 1966. In this year Omega had two suppliers for their watch cases. Huguenin Frères (HF) was the standard supplier. For some reason Omega also used cases made by the firm ‘Le Centrale Boîtes’ (CB) which are slightly different in shape and very sought after by collectors these days. The lugs are wider and from the side they are really different when not over polished.
The piece we sell here comes in original condition with a strong case and spotless dial. The hands are original old style hand who lost their tritium over the years. The pushers has been changed at earlier service but the old ‘flat’ pushers are kept and will be delivered with the watch. The original ‘dot over 90’ bezel is just fabolous and makes this speedy a real killer Omega.
