Beautiful 1940’s Gruen Curvex precision. This example is featured in 14k solid gold, many Gruen watches are 9ct gold filled. The condition of this particular example could be considered as mint. The case, dial and crystal show minimal signs of wearing which is rare for a 80 year old watch.

The case has a curved shape with fancy lugs, what’s even more interesting is the curved movement design. Furthermore the quality of Gruen watches is extremely good, the Rolex company took over the Alpina Gruen company in 20th century.
