Rolex 17014 Datejust ‘oysterquartz’
Rolex 17014 Datejust Oysterquartz. The Oyster quartz has been developed by Rolex in the 1970’s as response on the quartz crisis back then. The Oysterquartz movement caliber 5035 could be considered as the most over developed quartz movement there is.
The case of the oyster quartz has an integrated bracelet. Together with the faceted edges it has very much in common with the case style of the audemars piguet royal oak. Some say that the oyster quartz case has been designed bij Gerald Genta.
The watch we offer for sale has a beautiful black tritium dial, the ref 17014 is the rarest Oysterquartz Datejust, it features a white gold bezel. The watch condition is good and it comes together with a newer Rolex box.
