Perpetual calendar

what is a perpetual calendar wristwatch exactly?

A Perpetual Calendar is a full calendar watch displaying day, date and month. The complication automatically adjusts the date displayed on the timepiece based on 30- and 31-day months to ensure that the correct date is always displayed.

A perpetual calendar watch knows the year so that it will automatically adjust for leap year as well. The next time a perpetual calendar will have to be adjusted is in the year 2100.

Guilloche dial

The watch dials from Breguet are all hand made. The guilloche on Breguet dials is just amazing, especially on the high end models the ‘Guilloche’ dials made by Breguet are from the best quality in the world. As seen on this watch dial the Guilloche pattern is different on all subdials. Besides of the very complicated movement the watch dial is a beauty on his own.
