Movado Automatic Fb Patent case with rose gold capped outer case

Beautiful Movado wristwatch circa 1950. The watch condition is very good. It has a steel and rose gold watch case made by Francois Borgel, the caseback is signed Fb patented.

The watch has an automatic inhouse movement made by Movado, the so called bumper automatic cal 221A is running well an keeping time. The watch case remains strong and has been minimally polished in the past, furthermore the dial condition is stunning, it could be considered as mint and the yellowish patina gives the watch a warm look together with the rose gold parts of the case.
