Rolex 6518 Oyster Perpetual Date
Amazing Rolex Date from the mid 1950’s in stainless steel. This is one of the very first Rolex Date models with an automatic movement and the watch remains in full original and unrestored condition.
The case of the watch measures 34mm, the case shows signs of wearing, nevertheless the watch has not been worn much. The watch remains unpolished and the bracelet is super tight. The only part changed on the watch is the plexi crystal. This Rolex Date features a roulette date with red and black dates. Furthermore it has attractive markers, often referred to as ‘spaceship’ indices. The radium on the hands and dial is untouched and colored dark brown.

inside this rolex runs the caliber 1030. An automatic movement by Rolex developed for their automatic wristwatches, We find this movement back in the 6542 Gmt from the same era. Its noticeable that the movement of this particular Rolex remains in top condition, although its age it has been preserved in perfect and unmolested condition, a rare find
