Description
Rolex Datejust 36mm ref 6305-1 Steel and White gold
Rolex Datejust reference 6305-1 from the early 1950’s. The watch is featured in steel with an 18k white gold bezel. This is a very early Datejust model in full original condition.
The watch measures 36mm, the original dial and hands are untouched and have no luminous material, not so many No Lume versions of the 6305 exist. This example has been preserved in wonderful condition. The watch has a roulette date wheel with the even dates written in Red.
The watch dates back to 1954, it has a slightly later bracelet signed 1958, this rare example of the 6305 features no lug holes, therefore the end links have a gap at the back to be able to remove the bracelet. Most Rolex watches with these particular end links have been sold in South America originally.
This Rolex has been carefully checked with our watchmaker, the movement is very clean and running great. We advise to avoid water with precious old timepieces because waterproofness cannot be guaranteed anymore due to the age of the watch.
