Movado m90 chronograph from the 1940’s
Beautiful 1940’s Movado chronograph in yellow gold. The watch remains in outstanding and near mint condition. The m90 movement inside remains untouched as well as the beautiful dial and case. The watch is unrestored, the dial shows a minor flaw at the minute subcounter where the hand touched the dial, the overall condition of the dial is mint.
Movado made some beautiful chronograph watches in the past. Not all remain in original and good condition, its pretty rare to find a 80 year old watch in outstanding condition like the example we offer for sale here. It has a 32mm case size, is wears bigger on the wrist. The lugs have a beautiful fancy shape and are rounded at the top. The dial has a beautiful telemeter index and is signed non-magnetic and Swiss Made at the bottom. It has gilt hour indices and blue second hands. The minute counter hand is red, this color comes back in the telemeter index.
The Movado m90 is a complex and high-end chronograph movement. Its a beautiful movement to see and it works perfect. What makes the Movado Chronograph movements different from other chronograph watches is the start and stop function. The chronograph starts with the down button, to stop and reset the chrono the upper bottom is used.
