Description
Cartier Asymétrique Limited Platinum wristwatch
Cartier Asymétrique wristwatch from 1996 featured in platinum. This rare and attractive wristwatch comes from the Cartier ‘Collection Privé’ from 1996 and is limited till 100 pieces only. This year Cartier launched a new model of the Cartier Asymetrique with a larger case with three lugs at each side of the watch case.
This platinum model is very elegant and distinguished with the platinum metal used for the case. It has a case size of 23mm by 33mm and comes on a beautiful black leather strap with white gold deployment buckle. This asymmetrical wristwatch is a re-adaptation of the 1936 “Parallelogram,”. Most of these watches are hold in private collections and they don’t appear on the market often, this particular example remains in perfect condition and has barely been worn. It has the original sticker on the caseback and the watch strap looks like it has never been worn. The beautiful silver dial has 6 numbers and 6 stripes for the hour indicators, Cartier Paris signature and beautiful guilloche finishing.
The movement running inside is the caliber 9p2 developed by Piaget in the 1950’s. We are very proud to offer this Cartier Asymetrique for sale, the original box and guarantee are lost unfortunately however we give a full guarantee on the watch originality.
Please let us know when you have any questions about this rare and unique Cartier wristwatch. We ship worldwide and trade in certain (vintage) timepieces as well.

Vintage Times
Vintage Times is specialized in vintage timepieces and unique wristwatches. In our philosophy a wristwatch is a precious and valuable piece of jewelry for men. Watches are seen as an investment today but most important is that a watch is a pleasure to wear on the wrist. At Vintage Times we like rare timepieces, they could be rare simply because there aren’t made much of a certain model or rare because it has been preserved in outstanding condition for its age. We buy and sell brands as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Cartier and Longines but also love less known brand from high-end quality like Gübelin, Movado and other high end Swiss watch brands.
Please contact us when you are looking for a certain vintage watch to buy or sell. Our company is located in the Netherlands, we usually sell watches online but on request it’s possible to make an appointment with our watch specialist at location. We also try to visit the main auctions, watch shows and other events in Europe and Switzerland.
