Wittnauer Futurama Double Retrograde Mens Jump Hour Watch ETA 2784

Very cool mens wristwatch from the 1970’s. This Wittnauer Futurama has a very unusual way for displaying the time with a double retrograde movement. The minute hand starts at 1 and goes down by the minute, at the end of the cyclus it ‘jumps’ back to 1, this is why the watch is called a Jump Hour. There are several jump hour watches in the market, most of them have a digital display of the time, the combination of a jump hour with retrograde function is pretty rare and uncommon.

The watch is powered by an automatic movement, the Eta caliber 2784. The watch is keeping time perfectly and the retrograde function is working smoothly. The case and crystal shows signs of wearing and little scratches, the overall condition of the watch could be considered as good.
