Vacheron Constantin ref 2077 ‘Cristallor’

Vacheron Constantin ‘Cristallor’ Tank wristwatch in yellow gold. This Jumbo size tank watch dates back to the early 1970’s made by the house of Vacheron Constantin. The watch has a very large size measuring 29mm by 38mm. The watch is powered by the manual wound K1014 movement, a beautiful and thin movement from the highest level of finishing possible. The watch case directly reminds to the Cartier Cristallor from the same era.

Vacheron Constantin is one of the major Swiss watch brands. The quality of Vacheron watches is outstanding. The quality of a Vacheron wristwatch is comparable with the quality of a Patek Philippe, just the prices for Vacheron are still much more affordable. Also this particular model is not known to the major public yet, possibly because just not many are around. The ref 2077 has a very heavy, large and beautifully shaped case with a stepped bezel. It has a vertically brushed gold dial with the Vacheron Cross logo. There are also examples known from this model with a hard stone onyx or tiger eye dial. The price for the watch we offer for sale is very decent, especially compared to the prices for recently sold Cartier Cristallor examples like this one listed online right now.

Condition

The condition of this Vacheron Constantin Cristallor is very good, the case shows minimal to no signs of wearing, the dial is mint and untouched and the movement has been carefully checked with our watchmaker. The condition of the watch could be considered as very good. It comes with a black leather strap with original Vacheron Constantin buckle in gold.
